In Taipei its been 14C one day and 22C the next. I’d say on average maybe 16C. We went to the south to the beaches and it was 27C on the weekend though! 🙂

Which lead to several inconvenient drunk nights.

Comment on pampered pooch by Andy https://taiwan.slaughter.com/2010/09/poochy-love/#comment-7 Mon, 27 Sep 2010 09:30:32 +0000 http://taiwan.slaughter.com/?p=98#comment-7 The dog sign in stores usually means you can carry them in bags but they can’t roam on their own, but usually there is also an allowance if they are seeing eye dogs. People use the bags so that they can still freely enter shops. You should try the mall over on Ba-De Road 台北市八德路 which supplies carts for your pets to be pushed around in and has a pet care center and salon for your pooch to hang out while you take in some shopping and a movie.

If you think this is bad, you should see how bad it is at my office in Cambridge! The water literally goes out at least once a month, along with power failures, backed-up toilets, and one of the three lifts is almost always out of commission. Of course, that’s in a developing country: Britain. I’m sure the UK will be up to the standards of developed nations like Taiwan within the next few decades. By then they might even figure out how to make hot and cold water come from the same tap at the same time! 🙂
